Peach ("we", "us", "the app") is an iOS fitness app operated by AO Design Holdings LLC. We built it to collect as little about you as possible. This policy explains what happens to your data.
The short version
Peach stores your data on your device. Your workouts, measurements, progress photos, and settings never leave your phone and are never sent to us. We do not run a server that receives them.
Data stored on your device only
- Workout logs, sets, weights, and reps you record.
- Body measurements you enter at check in.
- Progress photos you take (saved in the app's private storage, never uploaded).
- Your settings, streak, points, levels, and progress.
This information lives in the app's local storage on your device. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Data handled by third parties
To offer subscriptions, we rely on:
- Apple (App Store and StoreKit): processes your payment. We never receive your payment card details. Apple's handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat (our subscription management provider): to tell the app whether your subscription is active, RevenueCat processes an anonymous, app-generated user ID, your purchase history, and basic device and app information. It does not receive your name, email, workouts, photos, or measurements. See https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
- PostHog (our product analytics provider): to understand how the app is used and where people get stuck, we send anonymous usage events such as which setup screen you reached, whether you finished setup, and whether a purchase succeeded or was cancelled. These events are tied to an anonymous, app generated device ID. PostHog does not receive your name, email, workouts, photos, or measurements, and we do not use this data for advertising or sell it. See https://posthog.com/privacy.
We also use Expo (expo.dev) to deliver app updates. Expo may receive basic, non-identifying technical information as part of delivering those updates.
Camera and photo access
Peach requests camera and photo library permission so that you can add progress photos, and so the optional Boss Battle mode can count your reps in real time. Rep counting runs entirely on your device: camera frames are analyzed live and immediately discarded, never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Progress photos remain on your device. We do not access, upload, or transmit them.
Notifications
Peach uses local notifications (workout reminders) that are scheduled on your device. No data is sent to a server to deliver them.
